Welcome to The Golf Letters. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thegolfletters.com and our subscription products. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms.

About Us

The Golf Letters is an independent stationery and mail art project operated by The Golf Letters LLC, a single-member limited liability company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. We design, write, and mail original golf stories — hand-finished by a person, never a bot. We are not affiliated with any professional golf association, tournament, country club, or golfer. Historical references are researched and presented for educational and entertainment purposes.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order or enter into a subscription with us. By ordering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Orders & Payments

• All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable.
• By placing an order, you confirm the payment method is yours to use and authorize us (through Shopify Payments) to charge it.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. If we cancel, you'll be refunded in full.
• Product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to keep information accurate but do not warrant that descriptions or pricing are error-free.

Subscriptions & Recurring Billing

We offer two subscription options for The Golf Letters:

• Monthly Subscription — $10.00/month. Billed each month on the anniversary of your initial purchase. The subscription continues until you cancel.
• Annual Subscription — $99.00, paid once. A single, prepaid payment that covers twelve consecutive monthly letters. The annual plan does not auto-renew.

Authorization. By starting a Monthly Subscription, you authorize us, through our payment processors, to charge your selected payment method automatically each month at the then-current rate until you cancel. You may update your payment method at any time from your account.

Cancellation. Monthly subscribers may cancel at any time before the next billing date from their customer account or by emailing info@thegolfletters.com. Once cancelled, you will not be charged again. Cancellation does not, by itself, generate a refund for letters already paid for and mailed — refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices for future billing cycles. We will notify Monthly subscribers by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

Shipping

We ship from the United States. U.S. shipping is free. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Delivery times vary by destination — see our Shipping Policy for current windows. International orders may be subject to duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country; these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Intellectual Property

All letter content, illustrations, designs, photography, and copy on this site are the property of The Golf Letters LLC. You're welcome to share images of letters you receive on social media (we'd love a tag) but please don't reproduce, distribute, or resell our content commercially without prior written permission.

User Conduct

Don't use our site or services to do anything illegal, harassing, fraudulent, or that interferes with our ability to serve other customers. We may suspend or cancel accounts that violate this.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our site and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Golf Letters LLC and its members, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Golf Letters LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site or products.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site or services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
